No, Superwoman.

How many hours do you work for? Nine? Do you come back home, all full of energy, or do you crash into your favourite couch as soon as the door opens? Let me guess, you probably do the latter. If you think you’re ageing fast, let me tell you that you’re not the only one to experience this. But then, should nine hours of regular work tire you so much?

Now imagine, if you were to be a woman, and that too a married one, nine hours of regular work isn’t the only thing you’d do.

You’d perhaps wake up before anyone else in the house, gear up for a marathon day ahead of you. You’re the one who has to satisfy everybody’s taste buds and take care of the picky eater in the family. Then, of course, you pack them off and fix the mess the house is in. Once you’re at work your energies are devoted into ensuring that the upward streak that your career has managed thus far is retained.

Back home, the children — the little ones and the overgrown version — all of them are your responsibility. The fall sick, they have homework that’s basically your headache, their studies, their clothes, their whims and fancies — you’re the one who’s supposed to take care of them. Just like you’re up before the others, you perhaps don’t go off to sleep before everyone else. You’re the last one to go to bed, tucking everyone in, readying things for the next day and just making sure everything is sorted.

By now, you’ve mastered the art of juggling these hats perfectly well. You multitask like it’s nobody’s business. You’re the backbone of the family. You hold everything together. While you’re really good at taking care of others, pause for a while and check whether you’re taking care of yourself. The answer is perhaps a no.

Eating breakfast on the go, or just gobbling down what someone generously left on the plate, you, woman, are consuming the least amount of nutrition in the entire family, when you are the one who needs the most. While you make sure that everyone’s plate is close to perfection, you compensate for time lost on that, by either skipping your breakfast, or having a shabby one.

You tell your children that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but you secretly flout all the rules that you have meticulously made. You keep telling yourself that you’re eating enough lunch and dinner, but that’s not really going to help, you know that. Imagine, what if you don’t have the energy to do this? What if you’re unable to cook? What if you don’t pack your kids’ bags? What is you’re unable to take care of their studies right before the exam? Things would be a mess, wouldn’t they?

You’re a daughter, a mother, a wife, a professional. You’re no ordinary woman. You’re a superwoman. And a superwoman needs superfoods. Your daily nutrition isn’t enough for you. To exercise the superpowers that you have, you need something that’ll keep you going strong. There’s a missing piece in your breakfast puzzle.

Let superfoods do its job while the superwoman is on duty.

How many hours do you work for?
